Open Enrollment for 2015 Health Care Coverage Closed

If you or someone in your household has a Qualifying Life Event during the year, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment period.

Qualifying Events include:

  • Getting Married
  • Having or adopting a child
  • Permanently moving to Connecticut from another state
  • Losing other affordable, minimum Essential Health Benefits – for example, due to a job loss, divorce, loss of eligibility for Medicaid or CHIP, expiration of COBRA coverage, or a health care plan being decertified. (Note that voluntarily stopping other affordable, minimum Essential Health Benefits or losing coverage your premiums is not considered loss of coverage).
  • If you are already enrolled in a plan, having a change in income or household status that affects eligibility for an Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC) or Cost Sharing Reduction (CSR) Plan.
